About Danica

As a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist I am determined to work with you recognising you as your own person.

My career started working for the Department of Human Services working alongside the Behaviour Intervention Support Team. I was then fortunate to work across the continuum of care in the hospital setting before finding my happy place working in the community.

I have experience across the scope of practice in the adult space, from swallowing assessment and mealtime plans through to complex assistive technology. I am also a strong supporter of eating and drinking with acknowledged risk. I am passionate about team collaboration and working with everyone who is important to enable to best outcomes.

Some of the conditions I work with are autism, intellectual disability, Rett Syndrome, Down’s Syndrome, motor neuron disease, other progressive neurological and dementia.
